ITE IT8903AE is a USB2.0 to IDE interface controller. It provides customers the solution of one channel and two devices for enclosure design. It supports ATA/ATAPI-6 specification, full speed and high speed of USB transfer mode. Moreover, IT8903AE provides the interface of Flash and Serial EEPROM to meet the demands for firmware updating and OEM customers VID/PID uploading. Besides, it supplies 15 GPIO, programmed by ITE application program, allows enclosure customer to develop various kinds of button or software applications to satisfy innovative market needs in the future.

IT8903AE had passed NSTL USB-IF certification. For compatibility, based on different Host platforms and operation systems, ITE had completed cross tests of different brands and capacities of HDD, such as 3.5、2.5、1.8 and1 inches, as well as various CD-ROM、CD-RW、DVD-ROM and DVD-RW devices.

As to software, in addition to complete support of Windows family, Mac and Linux, ITE provides graphic interface of firmware upgrade utility. Besides, to help customers for products distinguishing and practical features, ITE provides several user-friendly application programs like icon change, security lock and file synchronization to bring users more fun with cost-free.
