Following Intel’s latest microprocessor and chipset to be released in the second half of 2006, ITE takes the lead to launch a new generation of voltage and temperature sensor chip, IT8601 and IT8602. This series of chips provide Intel with the temperature and voltage measuring transfer interface, PECI and SST, exclusively for the latest microprocessor and chipset. It can enhance the accuracy of measured temperature to ±1℃ and provide producers with transfer interface so that the currently produced motherboard is able to support the new model microprocessor as well as the old one to increase the compatibility of motherboard for customers.

ITE not only helps customers lower the cost effectively to increase compatibility of motherboard but also provides the complete technical support. ITE helps customers held the edge in the aspects of research time, cost and product diversity to further enter and expand the PC market. ITE’s goal is to make every PC fully enjoy the accuracy and enhance its compatibility brought by the new technology with the lowest price and simplest interface. Currently many motherboard providers have adopted IT8601 and IT8602. Customers are welcomed to have the sample from ITE.
