ITE’s IT8211F/IT8212F is an IDE controller which supports ATA133 application. It provides system customers with the connection between PC and HD, CD-ROM drive, CD burner, or digital video CD-ROM drive. IT8211F is compatible to ATA/ATAPI-6 specification and supports two IDE channels to connect four devices. As for IT 8212F, it further supports the RAID function, ensuring data storage and system security.

ITE has been spending much time and manpower on the test of IT8211F/IT8212F for its compatibility and stability at the application of various ATA/ATAPI peripherals.
