IT6569: Single Chip 4 Lane DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 Converter with Embedded MCU

The IT6569FN is a high-performance single-chip DisplayPort to HDMI converter. Combined with DisplayPort receiver and HDMI transmitter, the IT6569FN supports DisplayPort input and HDMI output by conversion function.


The built-in DisplayPort receiver is fully compatible with DisplayPort 1.4a and HDCP 1.3/2.3 specifications. With 4-Lane HBR3 (High-Bit-Rate 3) configuration and DSC 1.2a, the DP receiver can support VESA resolution up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200@240Hz) or WQXGA (2560 x 1600 RB@240Hz) or support CEA resolution up to 4K x 2K 444@120 Hz or 8K x 4K 444@30 Hz or 8K x 4K 420@60 Hz. This DisplayPort receiver also supports MCCS and CEC tunneling over AUX channel.


The built-in HDMI transmitter is a high-performance HDMI 2.1 transmitter, fully compliant with HDMI 2.1a, HDCP 1.4/2.3 and backward compatible with DVI 1.0 specifications. This HDMI transmitter can support color depth up to 36 bits (12bits/color) and ensures robust transmission of high-quality uncompressed video content. Aside from the various video output formats supported, this HDMI transmitter also supports 8 channels digital audio, with sampling rate up to 192 kHz and sample size up to 24 bits, and HBR audio.


With embedded MCU and Flash, IT6569FN is easy to be programmed. Customers need no external Flash and MCU, which can save the BOM cost and board size.


Each IT6569FN comes preprogrammed with a unique HDCP key, in compliance with 1.3/2.3 –Amendment for DisplayPort, rev1.0 and HDCP 1.4/2.3 –HDMI compliance standard so as to provide secure transmission of high-definition content. Users of the IT6569FN need not purchase any HDCP keys or ROMs.
