IT6224B: USB Type-C & Power Delivery Controller Built-in 4 Lane DisplayPort to HDMI/VGA Converter

The IT6224B is a highly integrated USB type-C/PD controller with DisplayPort to HDMI or VGA converter. It is suitable for dongle applications.


The IT6224B has integrated type-C DFP/UFP/DRP resistors and controls logic with dead battery support. For the USB PD application, IT6224B supports PD 2.0 completely, and PD 3.0 with the chuck mode completely. The built-in DisplayPort receiver is fully compatible with DisplayPort 1.2a and HDCP 1.3/2.3 specifications. The built-in HDMI transmitter is fully compatible with HDMI 2.0, HDCP 1.4/2.3 and backward compatible with DVI 1.0.
