IT5782: IPC Embedded Controller

The IT5782 is a highly integrated embedded controller with system functions suitable for IPC system applications. The IT5782 directly interfaces the LPC or eSPI bus and provides ACPI embedded controller function, keyboard controller (KBC), PWM and ADC for hardware monitor, PS/2 interface for external keyboard/mouse devices, BRAM, CIR, 2-port USB controller, CAN controller (CAN-CTRL), RTC and system wake-up functions for system power management.


In addition, it features six 16C550 standard compatible enhanced UARTs performing asynchronous communication, one multi-mode high-performance parallel port supporting bi-directional Standard Parallel Port (SPP), Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP V. 1.7 and EPP V. 1.9), and IEEE 1284 compliant Extended Capabilities Port (ECP).
