Waste Management
To prevent industrial waste from polluting the internal and external environment and ensure proper control over waste flows while fulfilling corporate responsibilities, we have established the "Waste Management Regulations" as guidelines to ensure industrial waste management complies with environmental regulations. The main operation of ITE is low-pollution office activities. To maintain office environmental quality and protect the natural environment, we reviewed waste classification regulation compliance in 2023 to ensure effective implementation of waste sorting and resource recycling. We also comply with regulatory requirements for regular online reporting of generated and stored quantities for waste management implementation. Through regular administrative dissemination, we enforce proper sorting and recycling at the waste generation source. All types of waste generated within our operational scope are properly collected and stored in designated areas, with qualified vendors approved by the Environmental Protection Administration commissioned for waste collection and disposal. As of 2023, ITE has not experienced significant leakage incidents related to waste management.
Handled waste is categorized into general industrial waste and hazardous industrial waste. In 2023, the Company produced 20.32 metric tons of industrial waste, including 0.97 metric tons of hazardous industrial waste and 19.35 metric tons of general industrial waste, a 6.78% decrease compared to 2022.
