IT6507: Single Chip DisplayPort 1.2 Transmitter

The IT6507 is a high-performance DisplayPort 1.2a transmitter, fully compliant with DisplayPort 1.2a, HDCP 1.3 /2.3 specifications. The IT6507 supports color depth of up to 36 bits (12 bits/color) and ensures robust transmission of high-quality uncompressed video and audio content.


Aside from the various video input formats supported, the IT6507 also encodes and transmits up to 8 channels of I2S digital audio, with sampling rate of up to 192 kHz and sampling size of up to 24 bits. In addition, an S/PDIF input port takes in compressed audio of up to 768 kHz frame rate.


The High-Bit Rate (HBR) audio is also provided by the IT6507 in two interfaces: with four I2S input pins or one S/PDIF input pin. With both interfaces, the highest possible HBR frame rate is supported at up to 768 kHz.


Each IT6507 comes preprogrammed with unique HDCP keys, in compliance with the HDCP standard so as to provide secure transmission of high-definition content. Users of the IT6507 need not purchase any HDCP keys or ROMs.

        -  Up to four I2S interfaces supporting 8-channel audio, with sampling rates of 32~192 kHz and sampling sizes of 16~24 bits

        -  S/PDIF interface supporting PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS digital audio at up to 192 kHz frame rate

        -  Compatible with IEC 60958 and IEC 61937

        -  Support HBR Audio

        -  Support 8-channel One Bit Audio (DSD)
