IT6508: 4 Lanes DisplayPort1.2 to Dual Bus TTL Converter

The IT6508 is a high-performance single-chip DisplayPort to TTL output converter.


The built-in DisplayPort receiver is fully compatible with DisplayPort 1.2a and HDCP 1.3/2.3 specifications. With 4-lane HBR2 (High-Bit-Rate 2) configuration, the DP receiver can support VESA resolution up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200@120 Hz) or WQXGA (2560 x 1600 RB@120 Hz) or support CEA resolution up to 1080P@120 Hz or 4K x 2K@60 Hz.


IT6508 is easy to program through the I2C interface.


Each IT6508 comes preprogrammed with a unique HDCP key, in compliance with the 1.3/ 2.3 --Amendment for DisplayPort, rev1.0 so as to provide secure transmission of high-definition content. Users of the IT6508 need not purchase any HDCP keys or ROMs.

  • Support Single-channel TTL output with 30 bits data (10 bit deep color) up to 4K x 2K@30 Hz resolution with DDR mode
  • Support Dual-channel TTL output with each channel 30 bits data (10 bit deep color), total is 60 bits
  • On Dual-channel TTL DDR mode, the Max. clock rate is up to 150 Mhz, the data rate is up to 300 Mhz
  • The Max. resolution is up to 4K x 2K@60 Hz with 30 bpp, or 1920 x 1200@120 with 30 bpp in Dual-channel TTL DDR mode for YUV422
  • Support MSB-LSB reversal and R-B channel Swap
