To care for employees, ITE conducts health management in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and relevant guidelines. Through diverse activities, we enhance employee health and create a healthy workplace.
To ensure the quality of health checkup services, ITE selects a qualified hospitals that meet the Ministry of Labor's requirements for worker physical and health checkups to provide on-site health checkups for employees. Our checkup frequencies and items exceed regulatory requirements, and also arranging for doctors to provide on-site health consultation services, raising employee awareness of health-related matters.
Based on the results of the previous year's health checkups, the occupational health nurse conduct health classification management for abnormalities. After the analysis in 2023, relevant health promotion activities were planned, and employees were regularly provided with various health information to enhance proper dietary concepts and improve abnormal health checkup items.

Health Care Activities
Besides of establishing a fitness center including facilities such as a gym, table tennis tables, aerobic classrooms, and massage chairs, ITE provides employees with opportunities to relieve stress through exercise during busy work schedules. Furthermore, to implement the labor health service system and physical and mental health protection measures, the company aims to enhance employees' health-related knowledge in the workplace. Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are installed within the company to enhance employees' basic first aid skills. From a caring perspective, ITE actively plans and promotes correct health knowledge, aiming to create a healthy, friendly, and enjoyable workplace environment. We hope employees can cultivate a positive health concept, maintain a healthy body mind spirit, and integrate workplace health into their daily lives, achieving a balanced work-family happy life.
In 2023, ITE promoted various work-life balance measures, including organizing health promotion activities, health seminars, and health education campaigns, with following implementation results:

Employee Assistance Program
Since 2023, ITE introduced the "Employee Assistance Program (EAP)" service in collaboration with professional psychological counseling institutions. The program provides employees with free annual consultations on issues related to mental health, emotional relationships, legal advice, family or parenting concerns and so on to care for employees' mental health. One mental wellness article is announced monthly, and one seminar on interpersonal relationships, workplace emotions, legal issues, etc. is held annually, providing resources to solve problems. Faceto- face consultations with psychological counselors are also available to assist employees in coping with stress and other issues related to their physical, mental and life pressures. A total of 114 services were provided.
Maternity Health Protection Management
In 2023, the company had 50 female employees of childbearing age, including 3 postpartum employees within one year or breastfeeding. The health risk assessment completion rate for these employees was 100%. During pregnancy, special parking spaces for pregnant women, and a nursing room was available for use.
Occupational health nurse who received notification in coordination with the on-site service physician, provided consultations, care, and health guidance to protect the work safety and health of female employees. Assistance was provided to postpartum employees in assessing their physical, mental, and workplace conditions, while work adjustments were made if necessary.
Ergonomic Hazards Prevention Management
An annual musculoskeletal questionnaire survey is conducted. In 2023, 15 employees with a score ≥ 3 received proactive assessments. The on-site service physician provided health education and rehabilitation exercise recommendations to these employees through faceto- face consultations. In coordination with safety personnel, the physician evaluated the work conditions on-site. The primary causes of musculoskeletal discomfort were personal injuries or illnesses unrelated to work content or the workplace. We continue to take efforts to prevent employee ergonomic hazards.
Abnormal Workload-triggered Diseases Prevention Management
After annual health checkups, the company conducts employees’ health risk classification management. For high-risk individuals, the on-site physician and the occupational health nurse provide consultations, recommend work hour adjustments and job responsibilities, and provide the "Overwork Self-Prevention Manual" from the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration, Ministry of Labor, along with relevant medical assistance information.
The company organizes stress-relief activities, such as essential oil aromatherapy relaxation sessions, actively caring for employees' physical and mental health while continuing to track on employee health.
